Bin Futais finished the first day at skeet competition with 70 points.


Our national team shooter, Saif Bin Futais, finished the first day of the skeet competition with 70 points with 3 out of 5 rounds in the 32nd Olympic Games hosted by Tokyo during the period (23rd July 23 – 8th August), with the participation of 11839 athletes competing in 33 sports, with 339 competitions in 48 Sports facility.


The three rounds on the first day witnessed similar levels of the 30 participating shooters, as the French Delanay Eric and the American Hancock Finkett were equal in points with 75 points, occupying the first place, while the Italian Cassandro Tamaro and the Czech Tomic Jacob scored 74 points.


Today, Bin Fetais completes the men’s skeet competition with two rounds, adding the score to the total of the previous three rounds, where the best 6 shooters qualify for the final stage according to their cumulative results. Today, Viktor Skritov, our national judo player, will also start his participation against the Swedish player Tommy Macias with weight under 73 kg, as the Judo competitions will be held at the Nippon Budkan Hall, which hosted many important sporting events, including the World Volleyball Championship in 1967, with a capacity of more than 14,000 spectators.
