H.E Engineer Azza bint Sulaiman, Assistant Secretary-General for Administrative and Financial Affairs of the National Olympic Committee, met Dr. Hussein Al Musallam, President of the International Swimming Federation "FINA", on the fringe of the UAE delegation's participation in Tokyo Olympic Games.
Bint Sulaiman conveyed to Al Musallam the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the National Olympic Committee and members of the Committee's Board of Directors and congratulated him for being elected the president of the International Swimming Federation.
Bint Sulaiman, with the President of the International Swimming Federation, reviewed the most important developments in the current Olympic Games Tournament and the participation of the UAE delegation in the Tournament, including the participation of swimmer Yousuf Al Matrooshi, who competed in the 100-meter freestyle and recorded a time of 51:50 seconds. She also reviewed all possible ways and mechanisms to support and promote swimming in UAE.
Engineer Azza bint Sulaiman handed the shield of the National Olympic Committee to H.E Dr. Hussain Al-Musallam in appreciation of his great role in supporting the Olympic and sports movements.
