NOA delivers educative lecture to coaches, officials of Al Ahli Youth Club

The National Olympic Academy (NOA) has held an educative workshop for coaches and officials at Football Academy, Al Ahli Youth Club in Dubai. A broad spectrum of attendees were attracted to the event held under the theme “Sports Training and Efficient Coaching”.

Ahmed Al Tayeb, Director of Sports and Technical Affairs, National Olympic Committee delivered the lecture and focused on key factors contributing to successful training and identifying the best talents. He stressed the importance of understanding leadership techniques and the role of the coach as well as effective communication. He reflected on the training environment that has to be created in order to achieve the best deliverables.

Attendees included Dr Musa Abbas, Director of Football Academy at Al Ahli Youth Club, in addition to 30 coaches, supervisors, and several technical and administrative staffs of the Academy.

“The National Olympic Academy is communicating with sports entities and clubs about academic aspects with the aim of instilling and upgrading skills for making champions. He praised the efforts of Al Ahli Youth Club for establishing an excellent academy contributing to the grooming of future stars under a plan executed by administrative and technical staffs,” said Al Tayeb.

“This step will open the door for more cooperation between the two academies in making use of their knowledge and experience for serving the sports of the UAE. Such cooperation will contribute to achieving the ultimate objective of making sports champions capable of raising the profile of the UAE in the global stage,” said Abbas.
